Rational Ignorance
Ignorance from a political science perspective is very rational. We all have busy lives, emotional needs, competing interest, we all can't watch what is going on in the world 24/7. But ignorance, rational or otherwise, comes at a price. I'm not right on everything. I'm not calling you to think like me. But I do feel 100% confident in saying one thing. The world has changed. The institutions that were once trustworthy should not be trusted as they once were. I fear Americans' rational ignorance is based on an equation of trust of institutions that is no longer accurate. Please, please, please start paying attention. Bad things are happening, and the institutions most of us trust to watch over us are either complicit in the bad or not willing to share information on other institutions because it might cause "waves". There is an old saying, the revolution will not be televised. It won't be, and it is happening now. It isn't how you think, it is top down not bottom up. The nation's rational ignorance has been studied, factored in, accounted for. Public servants are colluding with powerful interest to in act agendas that will be very detrimental to all of us who are not in the top of the food chain. You have the largest information gathering tool known to man in front of you right now. Yes there is bad information on the internet. But there is also unfiltered, unobstructed, unpackaged, non-vetted, eye witnessed information there too. Information that hasn't been filtered by the former guardians who now more often than not function as the guardians for those who hold the reigns of power rather than the public good. It takes some time, but you can find it, but that window will be closing. These guardians, for reasons of "critical infrastructure protection" "sex trafficing" and "extremism" are planning on closing the window down to all or most of this information. Plus they are getting better and better in obfuscating good information by sowing counter theories and bogus stories. Now is the time to research, question and rethink...trust. If you don't do it now, the coming technocracy will hem you in, possibly forever, and a new dark age of man will be upon us. Please, pay attention and at least look into some of the things I and others talk about. Again you might reach vastly different conclusions, but I think you owe it to yourself and possibly your children's children to LOOK. I'm confident that if enough people take the time to really LOOK, then questions will start to arise, and perhaps just maybe enough people will question enough so that some of the bad that many see coming can be avoided.
