Good Government Chart

A good friend of mine posted a graphic of what makes good government on Facebook. I couldn't help but comment. Here is the graphic.

Here were my comments.

Consensus Oriented: Current regime is about top down consensus building not following a bottom up organic consensus. In political science that is indicative of fascism coming.

Participatory: Really less than 1% of Americans involved in choosing leadership. Maybe 30% more get to choose one of the hand picked candidates.

Follows the rule of law: Law has become who can hire the best legal guns rather than original intent. People who rob a 7-11 for a few hundred dollars go to Prison, those who loot billions get a slap on the wrist and are rehired. Hard to enforce laws correctly when enforces are past or future employees of those who they enforce.

Effective and Efficient: Our government does some things effectively and some even efficiently, but not many. The last thing you want to do with some organization that is struggling with meeting its obligations with the task at hand is give it more task, which is exactly what has been going on for the last 100 years.

Equitable and Inclusive: Now this is just outright funny. Statistically, the more secretive organizations you belong to, if you graduated from a select group of schools, if you are of certain family lines, have backgrounds as an employee of certain corporations or on the board of certain trust or think tanks, the more likely you are to hold office. For the vast majority of us the system is anything but inclusive.

Responsive: Depends on the crisis. If the crisis will suit the need of furthering certain agendas the response is often preemptive. If not, don't expect any federal help coming anytime soon.

Transparent: Now this is funny. In some ways our government is extremely transparent, if it thinks that no one will look at the info their is almost a perverse enjoyment in releasing info burred in official documents. Or again if agendas are suited, information is often "leaked". But, try to do things like audit the treasury,find out which lammer originated a government policy, or get an accounting of where money in general is going good luck.

Accountable: TARP, QE2, MK Ultra, defrauding, etc... Our government is accountable to no one, nor does it enforce accountability for breaking laws on elites that have a relationship with the government.

In essence, our greatness is vestigial. The people who built our great nation and manned the walls are gone or retiring. What is left is a bunch of pigs at the troughs, clandestine communist transformationalist and one worlders, financial and corporate interest trying to shape policy in their favor or push the consequences of bad decisions onto the tax payer, power hungry lamos who view political office as an evolution of their career, and a precious few who try to keep things limping along (God bless those people, need more of them).

The above chart screams "Clean house". Or our freedom, our wealth, and our way of life will quietly vanish while the masses play xbox and watch the latest dancing with the stars in front of the dream machine. Pathetic. I know my grandfather didn't scrape bodies off the sides of ships the day after pearl harbor or my dad live a quiet life of depression while he manned the wall during the cold war to let America end up like this. Makes me PISSED. Wake up people. It is your country, they down own you yet. PUSH BACK and become truly EDUCATED while you still can. Your republic needs you.

The New World Order has arrived

Obama came to office with an Agenda. That agenda is too unpalatable to be accepted by the American people all at once, so it was decided to break up the agenda into little packets that are more easily digestible, and have those packets be passed independently of each other but in the end they will knit together to create the whole.

Take health care. Remember the first Obama bailout? The little 600 billion slipped in to "upgrade" for Health care data systems? Remember? This was phase one of the health care plan, or packet one.

Then later came packet 2, the Health Care bill, we are all aware of that.

Now we come to another nugget of the Obama agenda. Putting the U.S. under a supranational international court system that ignores American Constitutional rights. Here is phase 1.


The New World Order has arrived

Not a blurb about it on CNN, MSNBC, CSPAN, etc...

Expect Phase 2 to come.

I love my country, and I am loyal to the Constitution. I have no allegiance to U.N. or any world bodies unless I give it, it can't be given for me by my government. And my government serves me and the people of the United States, not the world, and not the U.N. If this has changed I didn't get the memo, and I would like it, because we need to renegotiate.

So, So Sad

I'm glad I moved to the Detroit metro. The surrounding area of Detroit is beautiful and the people are generally more in line with how I live and my ideal values than a lot of folks out in the South West.

But there is a sadder reason I like being near Detroit. I got to see first hand what people callously talk about in theory. I remember coming back from Chicago, and seeing beautiful sky scrapers, with new ones being built. Then I went to down town Detroit the following weekend. I saw the same beautiful buildings, except the ones in Detroit were boarded up and falling apart. It broke my heart to see such vibrance decimated. I got to see first hand the consequences, not the pie in the sky theory, of what our rich elites have brought upon us with their horribly incompetent and anti-American trade policies. It is a horrible thing, and guess what all you smug people around the country who bad mouth Detroit as the last bits of economic mojo bleed from the city's heart?

Detroit is coming to you. When you look at Detroit, you see the future. You have time to change your nation's policies. Don't listen to the Austrian economic egg heads, the global investors, the foreign lobbyist, the socialist elites proposing their brand of false economic salvation, all the corrupt bastards that have brought this upon us as they tell us it is unreversable. It isn't. But you need to follow your heart and your brain instead of their lies.

This Isn't Scary

I don't know what this protester at the G20 did, he could be deserving of everything he gets. The scene of an unmarked car pulling up filled with military personnel doing a snatch and grab on someone and then racing off to some some undisclosed location doesn't give me a warm fuzzy. It reminds me of Argentina, Peru, Russia, etc... Not America.

It looks like rookie president Obama is about to attempt to drop our nuclear arsenal down significantly. Admirable goal right? Perhaps.

I don't know a lot about nuclear weapons, but I do know that most people think if a nuclear war happens, a big button is pushed, a bunch of nukes fly, and civilization if not mankind ends.

From what little I know I'd say that is accurate up to a point. But in reality things aren't that simple. In order to avoid nuclear war, you pretty much have to guarantee M.A.D., or mutually assured destruction. Everyone from the USA to Russia to China to Iran need to know that if they start lobbing nukes, their ENTIRE population will be destroyed.

Here is the danger. Bad guys, like China, Russia, and Iran, tend to be willing to sacrifice people "for a greater good". I'll leave this as a self evident truth, do a quick history lesson if you doubt me. If there is any doubt that they might survive a nuclear attack, their past willingness to sacrifice good chunks of their populations might in some far out but possible scenarios might lead the leaders of these nations to be willing to bluff more, and possibly even risk a nuke war if there is a reasonable chance that at least the elites of these nations will survive to conquer whatever wreckage of the world is left after the war.

Plus these bad guys have for a long time had low tech nukes. So since they were inaccurate, they tended to build their nukes big. The U.S. on the other hand had pretty accurate weapons, so we tend to build our nukes smaller since they are accurate. The bad guys have decided to put their command and control centers way under ground, so in order to guarantee that these command centers will be destroyed in a nuclear war, U.S. planners often target these sites with many multiple nuke strikes, and with differing types of nuclear weapons (yeah, they aren't all just one type, some are designed to penetrate deep, others are designed to blow up big areas like cities, etc...).

Well, now the bad guys have stolen enough U.S. know how to make their weapons accurate. So here is the bad scenario that Obama is setting up. If we cut our nuclear arsenal down to a certain point, we will be left with a bunch of small but accurate nukes. The bad guys will be left with a bunch of big accurate nukes. American command and control centers tend to be very vulnerable to nuke strikes. The bad guys have put their command and control centers very deep and very well protected. If we drop below x number of nuclear weapons, we can no longer guarantee that we can achieve M.A.D. against Russia or China, while they, with their bigger nukes and easier targets, can guarantee our destruction.

What does this do to the geopolitical process of bluffing? I don't think Russia or China would attempt to engage in a nuclear war with us in the future, but with the knowledge that they possibly could survive, might change the whole dynamic of how they deal the rest of the world politically, how eager they are to use conventional forces, and how much they are willing to push the boundaries of what other nations will accept from them as they project power.

So, for the moderate cost of maintaining a fairly robust nuclear arsenal, and ensuring M.A.D. against all comers, the U.S. helps keep the world more, well, stable. If Obama in his glee to make a historical name for himself cuts our nuclear arsenal too thin, Obama may unwillingly pave the way for more instability and more war, and possible even increase the possibility of "the big one", a nuclear Armageddon, taking place sometime in the future.

Update: The weekly standard makes a good point about Obama giving up our two biggest bargaining chips, the polish missile shield and the size of our nuclear arsenal, before renegotiating START with the Russians which expires in December. Brilliance.

23. Sent his National Defense Advisor to Europe to assure them that the
US will no longer treat Israel in a special manner and they might be on
their own with the Muslims.

25. Nationalized General Motors and Chrysler while turning shareholder
control over to the unions and freezing out retired investors who owned
their bonds. Committed unlimited taxpayer billions in the process.

industry even less competitive while costing homeowners thousands per year.

27. Announced nationalized health care "reform" that will strip seniors
of their Medicare, cut pay of physicians, increase taxes yet another $1
trillion, and put everyone on rationed care with government bureaucrats
deciding who gets care and who doesn't.

Bloomberg: Daschle says, "Health care reform will not be pain free.
Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age
instead of treating them," while former Colorado Governor Dick Lamm says
seniors have "a duty to die."

If this does not sufficiently raise your ire, just remember that the
President, Senators and Congressmen have their own special gold plated
health care plan which is guaranteed the remainder of their lives and
they are not subject to this new law if they pass it.

Please use the power of the Internet to get this message out. Talk it up
at the grassroots level. We have an election coming up in one year and
two months where we can reverse the dangerous direction of the Obama
administration and its allies.
