So here is my rant, or the high points because I'm tired and don't want to write a lot.
- I paid my mortgage payments, so I don't have sympathy for those who didn't. Should my tax dollars help them because they lived beyond their means? No. Specific hard ship cases where people did everything right, or as right as can be expected, and things went south, sure, give them help. But I think this is the exception not the rule right now.
- Should my tax dollars help bail out banks who are having to eat bad mortgage loans because they lowered their standards of lending? No. Or if this becomes some sort of national security crisis because so many banks are going under, then the government should only bail out these banks after seizing the assets of theses banks' corporate officers.
- To all you dufesses that are making it hard now for me to get a loan to get a house for my family while you have over stuffed the market with homes you have off loaded, I hope you rent for the rest of your life.
