Inflation and the ICPI (Infocyde Consumer Price Index)

I keep hearing about inflation, and how the CPI index is rigged, and that even though the CPI index is rigged it is still going up. Quiet frankly I'm not sure what to believe. So once every two weeks I'm going to post the Infocyde Consumer Price Index (ICPI). I'm lazy, so I'm only going to track a few items. Here they are.

Cost of a (locally produced) Gallon of Milk
Cost of a Can of Chunky Soup
Cost of a 12oz Coke
Cost of a Gallon of 87 Octane Gas
Cost of a Nine Lives can of Cat Food

I will total this up, and divide it 100 (so it is in dollars), and that is the ICPI. I will update this only once a month, towards the end of the month.
