I very much look forward to spending time with my family and friends over Thanksgiving. It is even more bitter sweet knowing that the days when I can freely do this are most likely numbered. Our national debt is a ticking time b__b that most likely will go off in the next few years. Then who knows what will happen to America. I know that God is in control, and I also know that whatever happens is within His will and ultimately is for the good of those who love Him. We are going to live in wild times, and I suspect comfort zones will go bu bye.
There have been a lot of prophets of America's doom over the years, all of them have gotten it wrong. I hope my limited intellect is missing something and that I am wrong as well. But when you plug in the numbers, the below article just being one of many, economic catastrophe is near. Unless God does something, it is near certain.

And the rest of the world, who smugly watches America fall, may you inherit the world you always wanted, where you are free to move without the binding force of a great power checking your actions. I have a feeling it won't, as time will tell, be to your liking.
