What is all this monitoring of US Citizen's about? Are we the "threat"? Or is it for our own good? To protect us? Is allowing government the capacity to monitor every activity we make, and then use AI to sift those activities for dangerous patterns a good thing? What if the government down the road gets a little too power hungry and turns those pattern matches against those who question the government's motives?
Troubling. Add into that Obama's not so subtle threat about what you put on Facebook "being there forever".
