Propaganda, American Style

First, before I start my rant, I know there are many consciencious members of the ATF who proudly and honerably do their jobs. This isn't about them. Nor is it a protest against law enforcement who are enforcing the laws. What this post is about is propaganda, and about the governments growing trend to go authoritarian and move a grand scales. Wikipedia and Propaganda

- Information control affects information flow (duh...but always good to note).
- Left wing admins on wikipedia have achieved information dominance (at least regarding Obama's page).
- The sin of omission is just as damming as the sin of commission.

The Sin of Omission

Ahh yes. Our friends at Yahoo finance, butt nuggets from the left coast, have covered Wednesday's stock plummet. They fail to mention one little fact in their spectacular coverage. That fact is that Obama gave a state of the union speech last night. Could it be that his comments had anything to do with Wall Street's sharp dive?


Nahhhh.

Now Obama won over "skeptics" with his "Reagan'esque" speech...at least Obama's speech is now mentioned, though know intellectual "map" to the fact that his speech took the market a good few percentage points is provided.
