A Thought Hit Me This Weekend

I think it is more noble for people who are wrong about something, recognize that they are wrong, and humbly change, then it is to be right for the wrong reasons or have the wrong attitude about being right.

I know in my soul that I'm right about Jesus being God's ONLY provision for salvation. I know I'm right about other things too. But sometimes I'm not right in my heart when I deal with people who are "wrong".

So I challenge people to be noble. Where we are wrong, to be humble, repent, and get right with the truth and what is right. Where we are right, let's keep our motivations pure by understanding that being right about something does not necessarily mean we have some great intelligence or unique insight on things.

Our mutual goals should be truth at all cost, respect, and open discussions as all of us find out why we are here.
